What data we process
We may process the following categories of information:
- Identification and contact data: first name, last name, email and phone.
- Information included in the description of your situation and in subsequent communications.
- Case-related documentation that you choose to provide, such as proof of payment, communications, contracts or transaction data.
- Basic technical data generated when visiting the site, such as IP address, browser type, date, time and server security logs.
Please do not include special-category data that is not necessary to assess your case. If exercising or defending claims requires processing special categories of data, we will do so only where there is a valid legal basis.
Purposes and legal bases
We do not use the data submitted through the form to make solely automated decisions or to build profiles with legal effects.
How long we keep your data
Enquiries that do not lead to a professional relationship will be kept for a maximum of 12 months from the last communication, unless you request erasure sooner or there is a legal reason to retain them.
When a service is engaged, we will keep the file for the duration of the professional relationship and afterwards for the periods necessary to comply with legal obligations and address potential liabilities. Technical security logs are kept only for as long as reasonably necessary to protect the site.
Recipients and transfers
We do not sell your data. It may be accessed by providers that supply us with hosting, email, IT support and document management services, subject to confidentiality and data-protection obligations.
Where necessary to manage your case, and always with a valid legal basis, data may be shared with collaborating lawyers, advisers, financial institutions, forensic providers, regulators, law enforcement, courts or tribunals.
If a provider or collaborator is located outside the European Economic Area, we will apply the safeguards required by the GDPR, such as adequacy decisions or standard contractual clauses.
Your rights
You may request, free of charge, access to, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and portability of your data. You may also withdraw consent previously given without affecting the lawfulness of prior processing.
To exercise your rights, write to info@justicelaw.sbs, stating the right you wish to exercise. We may request reasonable information to verify your identity.
If you believe your data has not been handled correctly, you may lodge a complaint with the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).
Security, minors and changes
We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to prevent unauthorised access, loss, alteration or disclosure of information. No system is completely infallible, so we recommend not sending unnecessary information through insecure channels.
The site and its services are not directed at persons under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors without valid authorisation.
We may update this policy to reflect legal, technical or service changes. The current version will always be available on this page with its update date.
